I came to Greyfriars ten years ago from a parish in SE London. Prior to that I was chaplain at St. Mark's Church, Versailles. Over the past ten years it has been a joy to see the church reordered, the Centre ministry developed, the staff team expanded and the services full. I am married with three children.

I first lived in Reading from 1997-1999, while I was working as an Operational Manager at Royal Mail. Having been a member at Greyfriars, I left to train for ordination, and then ministered for 5 years in South Wales. I was thrilled to be able to come back to Reading and join the staff team here in November 2006. As part of the team at Greyfriars, I have particular responsibility for leading the church plant at New Hope, where we long to see the local community transformed by the love and power of Jesus.
I’m passionate about bringing glory to God by being fully alive in every way, and love hill walking, skiing and dinner parties with friends.

Over the past 22 years that I have worked at Greyfriars Centre, I have seen the ministry develop as people from all walks of life enjoy the facilities on offer. I love being with people so my job fits me perfectly. I am also Chaplain to Caversham Road Fire Station and one of the Assistant Chaplains in Reading Prison. I am married with four grown up children and I am a hardened supporter of Sunderland F.C.
I love working as Receptionist at the Centre, meeting all the different people who come in day by day, answering the telephone which never ceases to ring, dealing with all sorts of enquiries, helping with the Sunday Service sheets and whatever else needs doing - a bit like a 'Girl Friday', except from Monday to Friday. I am also very involved with the children's work with my husband, Jonathan, who is currently one of the Church Wardens. We have two grown up children.

I love my job as it involves lots of interaction with people from all walks of life. Often I am the first point of contact when new people are on site and where first impressions are important. I set up rooms for various bookings - everything from weekend conferences to small gatherings - lots of variety so never a dull moment!

comfortable atmosphere. I also enjoy
catering for small parties, business meetings

I joined the staff team as Children's Worker in 2006 having been in Greyfriars since the summer of 2001. I have a husband and two young children who I love spending time with, especially on the beach! I like eating peanut butter, ice cream and chocolate, though generally not at the same time!
