Books on Sale or Return for Special Events
Hi Everyone,
Just wanted to let you know that we have now launched a separate website for the Greyfriars Bookshop. We would like keep in touch with you. There's lots happening at the bookshop and we don't want you to miss out! We have a bookclub, fairtrade scheme and and an author event coming up.
We hope that the bookshop can be a resource full of treasures that will strengthen faith as well as a place where our town can have access to Bibles and books with a Christian perpective. Also a centre that inspires people to include fairtrade groceries, gifts and cards in regular shopping such that a real impact can be made on marginalized producers around the world. These producers are given hope and dignity through the jobs that fairtrade prices provide.
Our new website has just been launched at www.greyfriarsbookshop.org.uk . You can use the website to read summaries and watch reviews of featured products and in the future buy special offers and featured books online.
We have a blog too and would love to hear your views and recommendations for resources you have found helpful.
Hope to have you visit our website or shop soon!
Debbie

MEET THE TEAM
Hello
My name is Anna Hobby and I have been helping out at the bookshop for a year and a half. I really enjoy working in a friendly and interesting environment and meet many different people from all walks of life. Debbie cracks the whip so hard that I have very little time for joviality which is hard for me!!! So its slog, slog, slog, all day long.
Seriously ….we aim to get books to you by the next day whenever possible and will always go the extra mile to assist you with your purchases and requests. I feel that the fair-trade articles we sell are also an outreach to practically help less fortunate people in the world community. My hobbies include silver smith work, flower arranging and many other artistic activities.
I look forward to seeing you here soon.
From here you can download and print our latest Bookshop Newsletter.
