"Time Out Women's Group"
"Time Out" is a spiritual oasis in the week for women at Greyfriars of all ages and stages.
We meet on a Thursday morning during term time. We start at 9:45am for coffee and chat in the church foyer. At 10:00am we divide into small groups for Bible Study or prayer and fellowship.
A crèche is provided for pre-school children in the West End
and for 3-5 year olds in the Centre Hall.
Toddlers
During term time we run two Toddler Groups:
Tuesday 10.00am-11.30am
Tuesday 1.00pm-2.30pm
We aim to create a warm and loving environment where the children can have
lots of fun while their carers, (mainly mums but also dads,
grannies, childminders, etc) can chat and drink coffee in a
relaxed and friendly environment.
Each week there are toys, a craft activity, refreshments, songs and a story for the children. We have parties at Christmas and an outing in the summer, as well as occasional social events for the adults.
We run Parenting Courses once or twice a year, and also offer
opportunities for our Toddlers’ parents/carers to explore the meaning of life
through daytime or evening Alpha courses.
Dads' Toddlers
The Dads' Toddlers Group meets on the third Saturday of each month, (except August), from
9.45 to 11.00 am. For further information, email Chris Atkins.
Tuesday Special
Early each Tuesday evening a group of people
with learning disabilities meet together with a dedicated team
of leaders to get to know one another and to learn about Jesus
in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
